Geotech Services provides training in the field of Highway Engineering, Concrete Technology & Quality Assurance in Civil Engineering Projects. Training curriculum is a fine blend of theory and practice, which includes classroom lectures, live demonstrations in the in-house laboratory, as well as site visits. These programs are customized to suit a particular project (like bridges, highways, townships etc.) and also a particular target group like students, senior engineers, site engineers, supervisors and other technicians.
Geotech Services has imparted training to more than 2000 engineers in the last decade.
Some important training programs conducted by us are:
Quality control & Quality assurance:

  • PWD (2000): Seminar cum Training on Construction & Quality Control for Roads, conducted for 50 PWD Engineers at Wardha.
  •  Military Engineering Services (MES) (2002): One week training on Quality Control Tests for 25 Civil Engineers.
  •  ACC Limited (2007): One day workshop of 100 Masons from Wardha & Yeotmal Dist. Of Maharashtra on Concrete Proportion, Importance Of W/C Ratio, Vibration, Use Of Plasticizers, Effect Of Aggregate Properties On Cement Consumption & Strength Of Concrete.
  •  Military Engineering Services (MES) (2008): 2 days training of 25 engineers on Quality Assurance in Construction.
  •  Reliance Infrastructures Limited (2009): One week training in laboratory on Concrete mix design and Quality assurance in construction and two weeks in field which includes, full-scale site trials using designed mixes, corrections in mixes for site condition, yield adjustments, Lab setup, in-house calibration of lab equipments
  •  Sunil Hitech Engineers Limited (2010): 3 days training of 25 engineers in laboratory on Mix Design and Quality Assurance in Concreting.
  •  Building Material Technology & Promotional Council (BMTPC) in organized by ICI Nagpur (2014): Training and certification of 20 field & lab technicians working with concrete.

Practical Training:

  • Practical training to lecturers from Nepal and Nagaland Polytechnique College, under India-Canada Industry-Institute interaction program through Nagpur Polytechnic, funded by World Bank

Engineering institute internships & trainings:

  • Since year 2000, 40 undergraduates and 6 postgraduates of various private engineering colleges and NITs have undergone training at Geotech Services on diverse topics likes Laboratory tests training, Cement & building material testing, Physical and chemical testing on soil & highway materials.
  •  In 2011, 90 architectural students from Priyadarshani College had a one day Laboratory visit & tests demonstrations.
  •  In 2013, 111 architectural students from LAD College had a one day Laboratory visit & tests demonstrations.
  •  In 2014, 85 architectural students from IDEAS College had a one day Laboratory visit & tests demonstrations

PMGSY Trainings

  •  3 Days Training Program for 33 Districts of Maharashtra at 16 No. of Training Centres between 16th June 2004 & 14th March 2005 for 524 participants.
  •  3 Days Training Program for 33 Districts of Maharashtra at 16 No. of Training Centres between 27th October 2007 & 15th December 2007 for 696 participants.
  •  3 Days In-house Training for 33 Districts of Maharashtra at GEOTECH SERVICES, NAGPUR through 11 Training Program between 14th July 2008 & 27th August 2008 for 268 participants.
  •  A Week Long In-house training program for the engineers who were deputed at laboratory was held between 15th of June & 20th of June 2009 at GEOTECH SERVICES, NAGPUR for 21 participants.
  •  3 Days In House Calibration of Laboratory Equipment for the PMGSY engineers at GEOTECH SERVICES, NAGPUR was held between 11th of January & 12th January 2010 for 17 participants.
  •  4 Days Training Program for PMGSY Engineers at GEOTECH SERVICES, NAGPUR was held between 21st of August & 13th October 2012 for 183 Participants.
